David Beutel – Director, Chairman of the Board and Member of the Compensation Committee
David Beutel is President of Belweather Capital Partners Inc., a private investment company in Toronto. Prior to that, he was Vice-President of Oakwest Corporation Limited, also a private investment company. For almost 15 years, David has been working to build early-stage businesses as a founder, adviser and investor, in Canada and the United States. One of the companies he co-founded was ultimately sold to Kinkos, Inc. for its document creation and management capabilities. David holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (York University).
Jon Gill – Director and Member of the Compensation Committee and Member of Audit Committee
Jon Gill is a partner at HSD Capital focusing on opportunities in the consumer products and retail sectors. In 1998, he led HSD Capital's leveraged buyout of Super Electric, a branded consumer products company based in Markham that provides small appliances and consumer electronics to major retail chains. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Super Electric. Prior to joining HSD Capital, Jon was the Managing Director for Sega Entertainment Canada, responsible for its location based entertainment centers, cable strategy and core retail divisions. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University.
David Campbell - Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee
David Campbell is the Managing Partner with Belweather Capital Partners, a private investment fund focused on early stage technology investments. Prior to Belweather, David was the CFO of Hosted Data Transaction Solutions (formerly, Dexit) which develops and deploys touch screen point of sale system software and associated enterprise management tools.
Jeffrey Mandel - Director and Member of Audit Committee
Jeffrey Mandel is the President of AMR Securities Services Inc., a corporate financial services consultancy company that assists clients in the high-tech communications and pharmaceutical industries with capital development and delivery on commercialization objectives. He is also Chief Financial Officer of Goldbard Capital Corp., a capital pool company. Mr. Mandel is also the current Vice President of Israel Opportunity Inc., the general partner of Canada-Israel Opportunity Funds, a series of four Canadian-based limited partnerships created to enable high net worth Canadian investors to participate in Israel’s high-tech industry. Mr. Mandel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Economics from York University. Mr. Mandel has also completed a series of professional development courses including the Toronto Stock Exchange Computer Automated Trading Course and the Officers, Partners and Directors Course, the Investment Funds Institute of Canada Officers, Partners and Directors Course, the Canadian Securities Course and the Registered Representative Course.
Terry Rumsey – Director and Executive Vice-Chairman of the Board
Terry is a former President of Carlson Marketing Canada. Under Terry’s leadership, Carlson Marketing grew from 75 to 500 employees and experienced a fivefold increase in its annual revenue. Carlson was recently ranked as the number one agency in strategy and direct marketing and number four in interactive in Canada. As Executive Vice Chairman, Terry will help drive the Company’s strategic direction as well as provide guidance to the sales team leveraging his extensive sales and sales management experience over his career, which has included senior positions at McGraw Hill Information Systems and The Donalco Group of Companies prior to joining Carlson Marketing in 1987 as Vice President Sales.
Ted Dzialowski - Director
Ted is an entrepreneur and angel investor who has built $1 million to $250+ million companies in environmental, food processing, pharmaceutical and beauty aid product sectors. Ted has experience in disciplines including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and human resources garnered through various corporate roles prior to establishing his own businesses. Currently in the home service sector, Ted is executive chairman of the Nutri-lawn Ecology Friendly Lawn Care Ltd. franchise system and Cleanol Integrated Services Ltd. which are both based in Canada. In the healthcare sector, he serves as Vice President of the International Council for Quality Care based in Boca Raton, Florida. Ted’s IT interests have covered performance management analytics and reporting, compliance management, clinical practice benchmarking, e-prescribing and clinical decision support systems.
Ted has also served as an Executive in Residence at the Ivey Business School and has been a judge in the Canadian MBA Case Competition. He lectures in Health Sector Innovation and Investment in the MBA program at the Schulich School of Business at York University and is completing a Doctorate in Business Administration in SME Vital Performance Analytics at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
